Maria da Graça Carvalho participated as a keynote speaker in the EUROCITIES Knowledge Society Forum, which took place today in Brussels.
During her intervention, and in the quality of rapporteur on Horizon 2020, Maria da Graça Carvalho gave a general assessment of Horizon 2020, and afterwords she stressed the importance of Horizon 2020 to the cities and regional development, highlighting a number of key points.
The Chair of the Knowledge Society Forum, Mr Daniel Termont, Mayor of Ghent chaired the meeting, which included representatives from Barcelona, Amsterdam, Vienna, Manchester and others.
