At her office in the European Parliament, Maria da Graça Carvalho met the Chairman of the Alliance for European Diabetes Research (Euradia) and the European Coalition for Diabetes (ECD), to discuss the issue of diabetes in view of the future adoption of a new EP Resolution on Diabetes.
The European Coalition for Diabetes (ECD) gathers four organisations, namely the Alliance for European Diabetes Research (EURADIA), the Foundation of European Nurses in Diabetes (FEND), the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Europe), and Primary Care Diabetes Europe (PCDE), which coordinate their efforts to improve prevention of diabetes, as well as the health and quality of life of European citizens living with diabetes, by influencing EU policy.
