Work in Parliament Contributions to the Report on the Simplification of Rules for Participation of current and future European Programmes for Science and Innovation

Maria da Graça Carvalho is to listen to the different partners, universities, research centres and companies with regard to the report on the simplification of the Rules for Participation of current and future European Programmes for Science and Innovation.

The aim is to discuss the major rules of participation in European Programmes for Science and Innovation. To date, the MEP has already sent more than 8000 invitations to stakeholders asking for their participation.   .

Moreover, individual meetings will be held during the months of June and July in Brussels and Strasbourg and two further meettings are scheduled in Portugal on 2 and 9 July in Lisbon and Porto respectively (PORT: Room of General Meetings, Palacio da Bolsa, Rua Ferreira Borges, 4050-253 Porto), (LISBON: Main Hall, Instituto Superior Técnico). Another meeting, with the same purpose, will also be held 1 September in the EU Parliament.

The goal is to compile all the contributions made by stakeholders in order to assess their main preoccupations before preparing the report.
