Work in Parliament Maria da Graça Carvalho nominated for the MEP Awards 2020 in the category: “The Digital Single Market”

Maria da Graça Carvalho was nominated for the MEP Awards 2020, organized by The Parliament Magazine, in the category “The Digital Single Market”.

The list of nominees in this category includes Czech MEP Martina Dlabajova and German MEP Axel Voss.

This is the third time that Graça Carvalho has been nominated for an award given by that prestigious publication, specialised in news, analysis and comments in regard to the European institutions.

In 2011, she was elected the best MEP in the category “Research and Innovation” and, in 2013, she was nominated in the category “Energy”.

In the 2020 edition of the MEP Awards, from the more than 700 members of the European Parliament, around 40 are nominated in categories covering areas such as Energy, Employment, Economy, Environment, Health, Food Safety, Internal Market and Consumer Protection, Justice and Gender Equality and Transport and Tourism.
