Maria da Graça Carvalho gave a speech today on 'Aligning the research agenda with patient needs' in the roundtable event hosted by the European Alliance for Personalised Medicine (EAPM) in the European Parliament.
This roundtable addressed the question of contents of the research agenda for Horizon 2020 that will have a budget of 70 Billion Euros for the period from 2014 - 2020 and of the framework for public private collaborations that are a necessary condition to succeed where individual stakeholders' efforts have failed or were delayed.
