Maria da Graça Carvalho held a meeting in the European Parliament with a representative of the Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative TBVI.
During the meeting there was presented the financial plan of TBVI, totally in line with EU 2020 and particularly with the financial perspectives 2014-2020 of the commission, particularly where it concerns innovation, creating added value for Europe from innovative discoveries and innovative funding mechanism allowing EU to react quickly and appropriately to societal needs such as job creation, value creation and Health for the EU Citizen.
