Maria da Graça Carvalho participated in a meeting organized by European Comissioner for the digital agenda, Neelie Kroes. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the challenges in the ICT sector focusing on the areas and initiatives that will really make a difference in terms of jobs and growth.
In the meeting also participated Rishab Ayer Gosh who combines an academic position in Europe with a start-up in Silicon Valley, and Nadia Zaboura, a digital artist now helping the regional government in Northrhine-Westphalia to find out what the digital content economy needs. They shared their perspectives on what Europe needs to do better in order to meet future challenges.
