Funding should be “adjusted”, both in total amount and duration of programmes, says MEP
European research and innovation funding should be “adjusted” to better support early career researchers, an MEP has urged.
During a debate on young researchers in the European Parliament on 23 November, Maria da Graça Carvalho (pictured) said the group faces a “very demanding reality [as they] work in precarious conditions and are often forced to leave their countries in search of opportunities”.
